Cons: After just using about $50.00 to call my wife in cambodia, they put a hold on my account, so i just stopped using total call

Summary: I myself do not think there customer service or over all company is very good

Stay far, far away!!

Pros: 6-second billing, used to have decent cs???

Cons: cs don't speak English, incomprehensible billing, lots of runaround

Summary: My last bill with these people I can't even explain. The numbers didn't add up and it was literally 10 times what we usually pay. So I called them and was able to find out what happened. We accidentally bounced a check in January and there were several fees etc. related to that - not actually reflected on the bill. I paid the bill, but a few days later our long-distance was cut off. The number on the message was totally unrelated to the number we actually had to call... had to call several people before I found someone who could tell me what happened. I had no idea that our service would be cut off because I'd sent the payment in before the due date. The payment actually cleared the bank on the due date. I suspect that some of the past-due fees were due immediately or on a date other than the due date listed on the bill. When I tried to find out when service would be reinstated, the person I talked to did not understand the difference between "days" and "weeks." Anyway it didn't matter because now I'm here a week after the check cleared and I still don't have service. It appears they didn't notice until I called to complain... now they're saying 24-48 hours. Time to switch!! Sorry for the long story, but I would consider a different service. We had been very happy with TCI, but things have definitely gone downhill.

Worst customer service experience

Summary: After being a customer for over 2 years I cancelled my service and had a credit owed to me. I have yet to receive a refund after almost 4 months of closing my account and fighting with customer service. Customer service has basically told me that my only option is to wait until they approve the refund. Miss a payment with this company and you will have fees added...cancel your account and expect your money returned...think again, they will keep and give you the runaround. Their actions are both dishonest and criminal.

Summary: I have been with Total Call for over 4 years. I have not had any trouble with them. The fees have remained the same as they were when I signed up, and there are no hidden charges.

Businesses with toll-free phone numbers beware

Cons: Terrible customer service

Summary: It has been one month since I requested TCI to service our toll-free number. We are a business with customers and our toll-free number has been inactive for over a month. I get a different customer service rep every time I call. Most of them are very difficult to understand. I have to explain my situation each time I call. The department that can help me is usually closed or on another line. I cannot hold for them, but I can leave a voice mail. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and they were all unavailable.
