Pioneer 3.25 TalkCents User Review
![]() Phone ServiceOverall Rating: By: Keith Frana on Thursday, April 20, 2006From: Calmar, IA (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: It's working good Cons: NoneSummary: We don't use a lot of long distance, so it is nice to have a long distance carrier who charges only for the call usage and not having to pay a monthly fee for the service. 18 out of 35 people found this review helpful Pioneer TelephoneOverall Rating: By: JL Marlborough on Tuesday, April 18, 2006From: Valley Center, CA (United States) Experience: 60 Days Pros: Easy to set up, great communications. No issues for them at all. 22 out of 33 people found this review helpful Seamless and wonderfulOverall Rating: By: Tom Kuehnel on Monday, April 10, 2006From: Greenwich, CT (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: No hassle to sign up, no monthly service charge. Who actually talks so much that paying $30-35 per month makes any sense.Cons: I know of none actually. Perhaps that I didn't find out about this sooner.Summary: I love the entreprenurial spirit that drives me getting a bargain phone rate. It's something we need in the cable business now, it's amazing how low LD has become, and with no loss of quality. Thank you Pioneer. 17 out of 28 people found this review helpful pioneer 3.25 talkcentsOverall Rating: By: sally pierotti on Wednesday, April 05, 2006From: 316 w central st, WI (United States) Experience: 60 Days Pros: Online statements. Online bill payment.Cons: n/aSummary: Excellent service, rates are cheap, online statements and bill paying, reminder email when payment is due. 15 out of 28 people found this review helpful PioneerOverall Rating: By: Christopher Boyd on Tuesday, April 04, 2006From: Redwood Valley, CA (United States) Experience: 5 Months Pros: good rate, no problems with serviceCons: rude customer service peopleSummary: No problems with the service, but had an issue with the wrong account number. Talking to the customer service people was not pleasant. They had sent me two forms with the different account numbers, and then got snotty when I questioned which one was correct. Finally got a nice customer service person and got it straightened out. 16 out of 26 people found this review helpful Pioneer 3.25 TalkCentsOverall Rating: By: Joseph Ingersoll on Monday, March 20, 2006From: Delaplane, VA (United States) Experience: 90 Days Pros: I like the price and that I get billed in 6 second incrementsCons: I had a hard time getting my 5 lines switched over. You only provide for one phone line on your initial contact.Summary: It took me about 20 days to get my phone lines switched. I had a real hard time. I have five lines. The difference between in-state and state-to-state calls that I had to set up different PIC codes was not explained until I made the fourth phone call to Pioneer. This should be done during the first phone call. Now that it is set up, I do love the service. Thank you. 13 out of 21 people found this review helpful Phone Dog = Top DogOverall Rating: By: David Paulson on Friday, March 10, 2006From: Gaithersburg, MD (United States) Experience: 30 Days Pros: I have had a wonderful experience changing my long distance carrier.Cons: non that I can think of.Summary: Phone dog has been great to work while I switched to a new long distance carrier. The switch to from my old provider was seemless and easy. I wish I had switched earlier. 15 out of 19 people found this review helpful Pioneer TelephoneOverall Rating: By: Arlen L on Monday, February 27, 2006From: Metairie, LA (United States) Experience: 4 Months Pros: I can't beat this price. I have had no problems whatsoever. I am only sorry I waited so long to subscribeCons: The only con is that the detail summary of my long distance calls are not formatted. That makes it really difficult to read. But it is rare that I have to read it anyway. The one time I did use online customer service, I did not like that they did not specifically respond to the question I asked. The response was kind of generic.Summary: I have nothing negative to say about this company. My transition from ATT and Bellsouth went swimmingly. I have had no problems whatsoever with anything. My bill comes and I pay it. It is something that has entered my life seamlessly. Great choice. 13 out of 20 people found this review helpful Pioneer TelephoneOverall Rating: By: J Parker on Saturday, February 25, 2006From: Royal Oak, MI (United States) Experience: 3 Months Summary: I am very happy with my long distance service. I have not experienced any problems. I am very pleased with the cost of the service. They did not surprise me with hidden fees. I do not make many long distance calls, so I like not being charged a low usage fee if I use online billing. 11 out of 15 people found this review helpful So Far SoGoodOverall Rating: By: Harold Hopkins on Wednesday, February 15, 2006From: Colorado Springs, CO (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: No problems with the service so farSummary: As we use the long distance service very little, we have not had a problem with it so far. I think it is great that a person can pay for what he needs and not what the phone company thinks he needs. Finding Pioneer on the internet was easy and simple to sign up for. I have recomended it to all my friends that have internet access. 14 out of 24 people found this review helpful |
