Pioneer Telephone - great so far

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: C. Elizabeth Seufert on Sunday, October 19, 2008
From: Litchfield Park, AZ (United States)
Experience: 60 Days
Pros: Inexpensive, e-billing, responsive customer service

Cons: None

Summary: Pioneer was very helpful in getting our service switched. I was actually able to contact a real person without going through a maze of computer assistance, and when I needed to talk to them again I had their direct number; no re-explaining my problem to different people.
The rate can't be beat and their e-billing and automatic credit card payment are perfect for me.

Great Long Distance Company

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: Anita Stanley on Saturday, October 18, 2008
From: Lilburn, GA (United States)
Experience: 2 Months
Pros: Saves money and is much more convenient than a calling card.

Cons: none

Summary: I have used Pioneer Telephone for my long distance calling for about 2 months. Previously I had used a calling card which was very inexpensive but also inconvenient. I much prefer Pioneer Telephone. It's fast, easy, convenient and inexpensive.

Pioneer life with a phone.

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: George Hyslop on Monday, October 06, 2008
From: Wayland, MI (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: Good service and quality

Cons: I waited to long to sign up

Summary: Pioneer phone rates were just what I was looking for. My long distance with AT&T was way over priced. Now I call as much as I want for a few dollars a month. Spent 30 to 50 before a tried to keep calls short. What a pleasent relief. Oh yes, the service is excellent.

Customer Service

Overall Rating:
4.2 out of 5
By: Rose Denness on Monday, October 06, 2008
From: St. Louis, MO (United States)
Experience: 2 Months
Pros: Everyone I have spoken to is extremely nice and helpful.

Cons: On one occasions the customer service representative was not able to resolve the problem I was having at the time of my call.

Summary: My overall assessment of the customer service I received is very positive. Although I did have the experience of someone not being able to resolve my problem when I called, the next day it was resolved and was not an issue with Pioneer but with my phone service provider.

Pioneer Telephone

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5
By: Rudolph Willemsen on Monday, October 06, 2008
From: Hawthorne, NJ (United States)
Experience: 2 Months
Pros: Too short a time to evaluate.
Personnel very knowledgeable and courteous.

Cons: Received e-mail notification of overdue bill but never received the bill to begin with.

Summary: Contacted service personnel about supposed overdue bill and payed same. Would like to have more time to evaluate service before commenting. I am waiting for my next statement to see what I am really paying for. So far my telephone bill is lower.

VERY LOW OUT OF STATE LD RATE

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: PAULINE SCOGGINS on Monday, October 06, 2008
From: Beaumont, TX (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Summary: When my parents moved they could no longer keep their LD carrier so I did a search online to find them another LD carrier. They do not have a computer so I took care of this for them. They make LD calls mainly out of state to family and were so happy to get a lower rate than what they had. They're are no hidden surcharge fees.
