Pioneer 2.7 Rate Buster User Review
![]() Pioneer 2.7 rate busterOverall Rating: By: Patricia Callegari on Thursday, July 02, 2009From: Petaluma, CA (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Very inexpensive long distance rate. No hassle set upCons: Intrastate & Intralata rates are higher than the published Interstate (long distance) rates Summary: Overall I am very pleased with Pioneer 2.7 Rate Buster. My only complaint is that the Intrastate & Intralata rates are 5.5 cents per minute and that fact was not made clear. I was previously using MCI 2.8 phone card and the rate was the same for all types of usage. Nevertheless, I would still recommend Pioneer for their low long distance rates & for the free calls between Pioneer customers. Plus, I use it like any other long distance service without dialing a code. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Pioneeer 2.7 Rate Buster Long Distance Phone ServiceOverall Rating: By: William Sentilles on Thursday, July 02, 2009From: Goddard, KS (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Quick and easy sighup, online billing, charged on my credit card and most of all, saves me a bunch of money on monthly long distance serviceCons: I honestly haven't found any at this time. Long Distance - Did you know? The USF fee is a mandatory fee implemented by the FCC. Companies can however charge a higher % than required. A higher USF fee can have a significant effect on your final bill. We include the USF Fee into our "Yearly Savings" formula which has a significant role in which plan has the highest Yearly Savings value. This fee goes to High Cost/Low Income Fund, Schools, Libraries, Rural Health Care, and Telecommunications Relay Services or TRS Fund.
