I just dial the number get a good clear connection and talk as long as I want without worrying about a big surprise when I see the bill. I don't even need to write a check or worry about buying a stamp. ECG automatically deducts the payment from my checking account. How easy is that. Thanks for a great plan. 5 out of 10 people found this review helpful Great service, great companyOverall Rating: By: Geoff G on Wednesday, October 24, 2007From: Washington, DC (United States) Experience: 1 Months Pros: Extremely easy, inexpensive, and reliable. My only regret: that I can't use them as my local provider since AT&T charges me more for calling next door than ecg charges me to call out-of-state. 4 out of 8 people found this review helpful |
Long Distance - Did you know? Many people think using Calling Cards are less expensive than using regular long distance. How can this be? Don’t they have to pay for the usage of the same lines as everyone else? Sure they do, but calling card companies have become experts in marketing tactics!Read the fine print of the calling card, they often charge for units, not minutes. A unit can be any measure of time they decide, plus they often have minimum call amounts and round up to the next unit. The bottom line is, they have done the math, and it’s going to cost most people more money than selecting a good long distance plan.
