ECG Easy 2.5 User Review
![]() ECG 2.5 long-distanceOverall Rating: By: Joyce Bayer on Friday, February 06, 2009From: Sacramento, CA (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: I am completely satisfied with this service. It is reasonably priced and they let you know beforehand that they are taking an specific amount out of your account. I've already saved about $30 in just 4 months.Cons: I don't have any complaints and I have had this service for about 3 months.Summary: A friend suggested this company to me as he makes hundreds of long-distance calls per month. I need to use my land phone because I also send a lot of faxes and this is the best price. No problems or hassels in changing over to them. ECG 2.5 phone serviceOverall Rating: By: Michael Knisley on Tuesday, January 27, 2009From: Springfield, MO (United States) Experience: 90 Days Pros: 2.5 cents a minute, paperless billing and payment, great customer service. Cons: The instate rates seem to be a little high but I don't use it that much.Summary: I was paying $20.00 a month for 400 minutes of long distance on a plan. It got to where we were only using about 300 minutes or less a month which cost about .07 cents a minute. The quality is great, paperless billing and payment is also a plus. I had an email telling me the credit card I gave them was about to expire and need to call them. A real person answered the phone after only a couple of rings and the updating of the card took less then a minute. My long distance is half what it was and I could not be more pleased. ECG - great valueOverall Rating: By: Theresa Nicholas on Sunday, January 18, 2009From: Sacramento, CA (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: The price is great. The bill is easy to read. Cons: They only keep 6 months of bills on-line. I would prefer 12 months. On my plan you can not get paper bills.Summary: I have the "Easy 2.5" plan. My per-minute rate is 2.5 cents for state to state and 3.9 for in state. There is a 59 cents monthly fee which I think is easily offset by the 6 second billing increment. (Some companies bill on full minute increments.) The bill has all the information that my old major phone company bill had but in a much more readable format. When I signed up ECG kept me informed by email about the process of switching over to them. Everything was clear and concise. I can't comment on customer service since I have had no need to contact them. 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful ECG Telephone ServiceOverall Rating: By: Donald F. Yesterday I found out that Cavalier (my previous phone company) still had me using their services after i cancelled them on October 6. That is precisely why a Cancelled my services with them, but they are to sticky and stupid to understand that. Long Distance - Did you know?We do not list plans with rates that differ by time of day or day of the week. Each plan may only offer two separate rates: Out-of State and In-State rates. We believe in the K.I.S.S philosophy (Keep It Simple Stupid)
