Do I have to be home to receive service? No, unless if you are ordering two or more NEW lines that currently do not exist. If you have current service and are keeping the same number(s), you do not need to be home for hookup. Back to top
Can I use unlimited plans for my home office or business? No. Unless clearly marked as a business plan all the plans listed are for residential service only. Unlimited long distance calling plans cannot be used for Internet, telemarketing or autodialing purposes. Back to top
How many lines can I have? Most companies allow 2 or 3 local phone lines per household. Business can usually (depending on interior wiring) have as many lines as needed. Back to top

Can I switch service if I have DSL internet service? No. Since DSL service is set up through your current local phone company, you would end up losing DSL service. The only option would be to cancel DSL service and see if you Cable company can provide you with Cable Modem service. Back to top
