![]() Con arist tactics of AT&T - rollover minutesOverall Rating: By: Barbara H on Thursday, August 13, 2009From: Little Rock, AR (United States) Experience: 5 Years Pros: Roll over minutes option Cons: Roll over minutes change optionsSummary: AT&T has arm twisting tactics in place connected with the rollover minutes options. If you acquire roll over minutes and want to change the wireless telephone plan to a lesser amount based on your monthly usage - the company is stating that all minutes acculumlated, regardless of the length of time with the company, will be taken away due to the change to a lesser minute telephone plan. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful Poor Quailty Poor Customer LoyaltyOverall Rating: By: Angeline Broomhall on Thursday, July 30, 2009From: Millville, NJ (United States) Experience: 6 Years Pros: Rollover Minutes. Cons: Unreliable Signal Strength, NO 24hr Customer Service, Would like to see better customer loyality.Summary: I have been with AT&T/Cingular for over 5 years. I have been more and more dissatisfied. The signal strength is more often bad than good, I can watch the bars go up and down. I would like to see better offers to long term customers such as myself. I have never been so ready to change companies and noone at AT&T seem to really care. I guess my 6 years of monthly premiums didnt mean all that much. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful AT&T sucks!Overall Rating: By: Kirk Brown on Thursday, July 23, 2009From: Waldorf, MD (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Rollover minutes Can get early nights and weekends Good Phone selectionsCons: HORRIBLE SIGNAL. CANT EVEN TALK IN MY OWN HOME. Missed calls. Cannot text message. VERY FRUSTRATING! Summary: Can't even talk in my own home. Calls consistently go to voice mail and I lose signal for no reason! Works ok in public, however. I have Verizon now with no problems. TRY THEM!! Stay away! To be this expensive, I'm not getting the service I am paying for. two thumbs upOverall Rating: By: katie r on Wednesday, July 08, 2009From: marcellus, NY (United States) Experience: 2 Years Pros: AT&T almost always has great service for me, they carry Sony Ericsson phones, and the customer service is usually very helpful, if and when i ever have questions or problems with anything (rare)Cons: Expensive (although most, if not all other service providers are relatively the same cost) and they haven't carried a Sony Ericsson phone that I want lately.Summary: I've only ever had T-Mobile and Cingular (now AT&T) and I don't think I'd ever get rid of AT&T. I hardly ever have problems with them, and I almost always have good service. The only problem I'm having now is that my phone's mic is half broken, making it hard for the other person to hear me during a call. I'd like to get a new phone at some point, but I haven't really found a phone that I really like. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful they make me wanna kill myselfOverall Rating: By: B S on Monday, June 29, 2009From: Wausau, WI (United States) Experience: 2 Years Pros: popular phones, not neccesarily the best thoCons: -too much money for moderate services -most calls r forwarded directly to my voicemail -recieve voicemails an hour to 3 days after theyre left, lost my job -texts are delayed (sent and recieved) -customer service takes hours to get anything done and i wind up having to call back on a weekly basis to fix something -double billed consistantly when i had automatic payments -lots of "mistakes" that caused overagesSummary: these guys r a bunch of con men. i had no problems in the 5 years i had cellone, not even once... att takes over and im having my phone service dropped randomly for 3-5 hours at a time (unaccaptable). they charge more for everything cellone provided adn its lower quality service at that (I cant stress that enough!!!!). i had an iPhone and it was junk, its a toy not a tool. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful AMAZING.Overall Rating: By: Russell Mansfield on Thursday, June 18, 2009From: Cheshire, CT (United States) Experience: 10 Years Pros: Friendly Customer Service! Strong service! No droped calls! Awesome phones!Cons: none that i can think of!Summary: I have never had a problem with at&t when it comes down to my cell phone carrier. Ive been with them for 10 years now, and have had nothing but good things to say for them. I love theyre phones, and theyre customer service is as friendly as can be. theyre so helpful! 1 out of 4 people found this review helpful Very HappyOverall Rating: By: Chris Baker on Thursday, May 21, 2009From: Kihei, HI (United States) Experience: 14 Years Pros: Good service (very few dropped calls), Good customer support, clear and concise billing.Cons: A bit pricey, as with many wireless carriers they strip off manufacturer's software and add their own on cell phones. Summary: I have been with ATT for 14 years and not had any major problems. This year I am going with an unlocked Nokia phone (no contract and I get Nokia software). There is a local service (mobi PCS) that offers cheaper service, but I have heard from friends that they had a lot of dropped calls and finally switched back to a major carrier. I use my phone for business and reliability is very important. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful ATT are liarsOverall Rating: By: Melanie Lewis on Wednesday, May 20, 2009From: Lynchburg, VA (United States) Experience: 1 Years Pros: NoneCons: rotten customer service/will not live up to their promisesSummary: I had been with ATT who was bought out by Suncom. Once the buy out was announced, I called ATT and asked them if I was unhappy with the service once the buyout was complete, could I drop the plan. I was told yes if I dropped within 30 days. Once the buyout was complete and ATT was Suncom, my service with them suffered. Dropped calls were common and the price increased. I called to cancel my service and was encouraged to give them one more month and that the service would be better as they were switching over towers. Again I was told that I could drop if the service didn't improve once everything got settled with the new company. A second month passed and still the calls were dropped often. I hated it! I called to drop the service and was told that I would have to pay $200 to get out of my contract because I had not dropped within the 30 day time frame. I kept ATT until the contract was finished and then switched to NTelos. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful CrapOverall Rating: By: Thomas H on Wednesday, May 20, 2009From: Baltimore, MD (United States) Experience: 3 Years Pros: Can't think of any.Cons: Dropped calls. No reception. Can't even consistently access voice mail from a land line.Summary: I switched from Verizon because Verizon marketing was annoying. Big mistake. ATT services is garbage. No reception. Dropped calls. Can't even access my voice mail by a land line because of technical difficulties at ATT. Can't get a human on the phone to fix the problem. If you can actually talk to a person, they give you bullshit excuses. I can almost never even make a call from my office at the highest elevation in heavily populated southern Baltimore county. I'm way overdue to switch service. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Pretty good!!Overall Rating: By: CArlo Cotronea on Friday, May 15, 2009From: Rome, NY (United States) Experience: 5 Years Pros: They have great coverage almost every where.Cons: The have great phones but verizon comes in 1st when it comes to cell hne celections!!Summary: The AT&T company us great by means of service but it could do a bit better in cell phone selection. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful |
